“I have had the pleasure of staying at the Redwood multiple times over the last few years and it never fails to impress. Due to late bookings I have also experienced many of the areas similarly priced options. There is no comparison. The first striking difference is the impeccably maintained landscaping, more like a high end resort as opposed to a hotel, gives it a peaceful comfortable feel. The differences extend beyond the landscaping. The rooms are clean and well appointed. I travel often and one of my pet peeves is seeing hotel employees standing around with their faces in their cell phones. I never see that here. If they are not actively serving a guest, they are cleaning and touching up. I think that is a sign of a well managed hotel. I would recommend upgrading to a suite if available as they are not that much more expensive but greatly add to the overall experience. Book early as they are often at full capacity.” – Frank
